The very well preserved parish church, dedicated to Saints Gervais and Protais, includes a
choir of the 13th century, remodelled in 16th and 17th centuries, like the rest of the building
(listed as a Historical Monument in 1970).
Inside there are two statues originating from the priory of
Saint-Nicolas d'Acy, hamlet in the eastern part of the district, which housed a congregation of Clunisiens
(Benedictine monks) founded in 1098 and whose claustral buildings and church were destroyed shortly
after the Revolution. There is still the tombstone of abbé Prévost d'Exiles, author of the novel Manon
Lescaux (private property).
This monastery was made famous in 1567 by instituting legal proceedings
against a sow, which devoured a 4-month old baby.
