AUMONT-EN-HALATTE 18th century church with certain sections dating back to 16th century, dedicated to Saints Gervais and Protais. Near the forest, in the East, there is the house of the author Henri Barbusse (1916 Goncourt prize for Le feu) which he bought in 1910. From the Aumont hillock there is a beautiful view of Mont Alta, a sandy hillock which peaks at 142 m.
